⸻
Applies to All Infinity 33 Events (Flag Football, Soccer, 5v5, Showcases & Specialty Events)
Infinity 33 events operate with integrity, structure, and final authority.
This Protest Policy exists to protect competitive fairness — not to re-officiate games.
All rulings are governed by this policy.
⸻
1. WHAT CAN BE PROTESTED
A formal protest may ONLY be filed for:
• Player eligibility violations (age, roster status, suspension status)
• Rule misapplication (incorrect enforcement of a written rule)
• Roster discrepancies
• Administrative scoring errors
A protest may NOT be filed for:
• Judgment calls by referees (fouls, penalties, offsides, pass interference, etc.)
• No-calls
• Clock management decisions within referee discretion
• Video review requests
• Weather decisions
• Tournament format or scheduling decisions
Officials’ judgment calls are final and not subject to review.
⸻
2. PROTEST FILING PROCEDURE
To file a protest:
1. Notify the Field Official immediately before leaving the field.
2. Notify Event HQ within 15 minutes of game conclusion.
3. Complete official Protest Form.
4. Submit a $250 cash protest fee (non-refundable unless protest is upheld).
No written protest + no fee = no review.
Late protests will not be considered.
⸻
3. PROTEST REVIEW PROCESS
Once filed:
• Play may be temporarily paused if protest impacts current bracket.
• Event Director + Head Official will review.
• Supporting documentation must be provided immediately.
• Decision will be issued as soon as reasonably possible.
All rulings are final.
Infinity 33 does not allow appeal to outside governing bodies.
⸻
4. ELIGIBILITY PROTESTS
If protest involves player eligibility:
• Player must provide government-issued ID immediately.
• Failure to produce ID = player ineligible.
• Team may be disqualified.
• Wins may be forfeited.
Infinity 33 reserves the right to remove teams from event for roster fraud.
⸻
5. SCORING OR ADMINISTRATIVE ERRORS
If protest involves scoring:
• Official game sheet will be reviewed.
• Field referee report will be reviewed.
• Correction may be made if verified error occurred.
Bracket adjustments will only occur if error materially impacts standings.
⸻
6. PENALTIES FOR BAD-FAITH PROTESTS
If protest is deemed frivolous or retaliatory:
• Protest fee forfeited.
• Warning issued.
• Repeat abuse may result in removal from event.
Protests are for rule enforcement — not emotional reactions.
⸻
7. DISQUALIFICATION AUTHORITY
Infinity 33 reserves the right to:
• Disqualify teams for falsified rosters.
• Forfeit games.
• Remove players from event.
• Issue multi-event bans.
Integrity violations may impact future event eligibility.
⸻
8. NO DELAY POLICY
Championship rounds will not be excessively delayed for protests.
If protest cannot be resolved within a reasonable time frame, Infinity 33 may:
• Continue bracket play
• Issue provisional rulings
• Adjust final standings if necessary
Operational flow of event remains priority.
⸻
9. FINALITY CLAUSE
All decisions made by the Event Director and Head Official are final.
By participating in an Infinity 33 event, teams acknowledge and accept:
• No arbitration
• No external appeals
• No retroactive adjustments after event conclusion
Event integrity requires decisive leadership.
