EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN (EAP)

Applies to All Infinity 33 Events – All Locations

This Emergency Action Plan (EAP) establishes clear procedures for medical emergencies, severe weather, safety threats, and critical incidents during any Infinity 33 event.

Safety is the highest priority. All staff, coaches, and venue partners must adhere to this plan.

1. COMMAND STRUCTURE

Event Authority Chain
    1.    Event Director (On-Site Lead)
    2.    Operations Manager
    3.    Head Official
    4.    Venue Representative
    5.    Security / Law Enforcement
    6.    Medical Personnel (if present)

The Event Director has final authority over all emergency decisions including game suspension, evacuation, and event cancellation.

2. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

A. Injury or Medical Incident On Field

If a player, coach, or spectator experiences a medical emergency:
    1.    Stop play immediately.
    2.    Signal medical personnel.
    3.    Clear surrounding area.
    4.    Only medical staff and necessary personnel approach.
    5.    Contact 911 if needed.
    6.    Document incident in event report log.

If No On-Site Medical Staff:
    •    Call 911 immediately.
    •    Assign staff member to meet EMS at facility entrance.
    •    Keep access lanes clear at all times.

B. Concussion Protocol
    •    Athlete removed immediately.
    •    No same-day return without medical clearance.
    •    Parent/guardian must be notified.
    •    Incident documented.

When in doubt — sit them out.

C. Heat-Related Illness

Watch for:
    •    Dizziness
    •    Confusion
    •    Vomiting
    •    Fainting
    •    Muscle cramping

Response:
    •    Move to shade
    •    Hydrate
    •    Cool with ice towels
    •    Call EMS if symptoms escalate

3. LIGHTNING & SEVERE WEATHER POLICY

Lightning Detection

If lightning is seen or thunder heard:
    •    Suspend play immediately.
    •    Clear all fields.
    •    Direct participants to vehicles or permanent structures.
    •    30-minute wait period from last lightning strike.

Clock resets with each strike.

No exceptions.

Metal bleachers and open tents are NOT safe shelter.

Severe Weather (Tornado / High Winds)
    •    Monitor local weather alerts.
    •    If warning issued, evacuate fields immediately.
    •    Direct participants to:
    •    Permanent buildings
    •    Designated storm shelter
    •    Personal vehicles

Event Director determines continuation or cancellation.

4. LOST OR MISSING CHILD

If a child is reported missing:
    1.    Alert Event Director immediately.
    2.    Notify security and venue staff.
    3.    Lock down exits if possible.
    4.    Announce controlled alert via PA system (without panic language).
    5.    Contact law enforcement if child not located within 5 minutes.

All staff assist in organized search.

5. FIGHT OR PHYSICAL ALTERCATION

If a fight occurs:
    1.    Stop play immediately.
    2.    Officials and staff separate individuals.
    3.    Do NOT allow spectators to enter field.
    4.    Call security or law enforcement if needed.
    5.    Remove all involved individuals.
    6.    Document incident.

Zero tolerance enforcement applies.

6. ACTIVE THREAT / VIOLENT INCIDENT

If an active threat is identified:

Follow Run – Hide – Fight protocol:

RUN

Evacuate immediately if safe to do so.

HIDE

If evacuation is not possible:
    •    Lock doors
    •    Silence phones
    •    Turn off lights
    •    Barricade entry

FIGHT

As a last resort only if life is in immediate danger.

Call 911 immediately.

Event staff coordinate with law enforcement.

7. FIRE EMERGENCY
    •    Call 911.
    •    Evacuate affected area.
    •    Do not attempt to fight large fires.
    •    Account for staff and participants.

8. MEDICAL ACCESS & EMS ROUTING

At each event, staff must know:
    •    Closest hospital location
    •    Facility address
    •    EMS access points
    •    Field numbering layout

Assign a staff member to meet emergency responders at entrance and escort them to incident location.

9. EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION

    •    Event Director Phone
    •    Operations Lead Phone
    •    Venue Manager Contact
    •    Local Emergency (911)
    •    Nearest Hospital Name & Address

10. DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT

All emergency incidents must be:
    •    Logged in Incident Report
    •    Reviewed post-event
    •    Stored digitally
    •    Reported to insurance carrier if required

11. STAFF PRE-EVENT BRIEFING

Before first game:
    •    Review lightning policy
    •    Review EMS routing
    •    Confirm medical staff location
    •    Confirm radio communication
    •    Confirm authority chain

No event begins without staff alignment.

12. AUTHORITY CLAUSE

Infinity 33 reserves full authority to:
    •    Suspend games
    •    Modify schedule
    •    Evacuate venue
    •    Cancel event

Safety decisions are final.

No refunds will be issued due to emergency-based suspensions.
